We noticed after 12 days that our installer set the wrong drying program. It has been running constantly at 30 degrees for 12 days. It is an electrically powered external device. So not the heat pump. The installer is coming by tomorrow. What do you recommend? I will have the screed measured for moisture today. But I am concerned about the expansion. If I heat from 30 to 40 tomorrow and from Friday to Saturday to 50 and then leave it like that for 2 days until Monday, is that enough? We have already scheduled all work steps with all craftsmen after the drying program. Therefore, it would be a disaster if we have to extend the program.

Contrary to the very widespread opinion about "dry heating," it is a so-called functional heating. It serves to demonstrate the function of the heating system and to heat the screed without stress. After that, it can still even be "wet." The functional heating (usually 21 days) is a fixed programmed heating program with heating up, holding, and cooling down. I would strongly!!!!! advise against a manual increase in 10-degree steps. It may go well, but presumably the screed will cup, meaning the corners will rise, similar to a slice of bread drying on the table.
Conclusion: choose the right program and try again.

Can the temperature alternatively be increased by 5 degrees every 12 hours? We had the screed measured. Almost 2 percent has been achieved. After 12 days of drying, the function of the heating circuit is thus proven (functional heating) and the purpose of the maturity heating is also completed with the drying, right? Only the 50 degrees were not reached? What impact could that have? The heat pump will later only heat with a maximum of 35 degrees anyway.

You are asking whether you are allowed to drive a bit faster than permitted! Please again, it has nothing to do with drying!!!!!!!! If you heat up in 5 degree increments, okay, hold for at least 4 days maximum, then go back. Man, the answer is difficult. There are guidelines and you are asking if it can be done differently. Try it and good luck!
