We didn't do a proper sampling at all Well, it was only a BU anyway.
Maybe as points of reference, what one can think about:
In advance:
Plaster, electric shutters, bricks, mushroom dowels, sliding door
Afterwards:
Glass cutouts in doors, tiles, sanitary, sockets, metal strips on the stairs, doors, light switches, etc. etc.

By the way, I had the feeling that things were more expensive before than after -.-

Before signing the contract, it is definitely worth looking at the objects that are standard. With us, a preliminary sampling + factory inspection was done before signing the contract. This way, you knew what additional things to expect and whether the standard was liked. We then had 4 additional items included, so that only absolute minor details remained during the sampling. - Homeway (network + TV wiring) - Additional beams for awning + canopy - Additional wall in the attic - Glass element in the shower The better the salesperson, the more time they take during the preliminary sampling – after all, they want to make a sale!

I know 2 GUs for prefabricated houses that offer preliminary sampling!

If you want info, feel free to ask via pm.

But what is much more important is to have special requests included in the contract right from the start, as mentioned above.

The proper selection with all the bells and whistles before signing the contract makes little sense. It makes a lot of sense to look at the model rooms beforehand and check the surcharges for the extras displayed there. The big extras like electric roller shutters, underfloor heating, ventilation system, fireplace, certain roof tiles, certain clinker bricks (if you know exactly what you want), etc. are included directly in the final price just before and are not part of the selection process. During the selection process, you choose the interior doors, the toilet, etc... it doesn’t hurt to know the surcharges roughly beforehand and then set your own limit. Many surcharges are fairly similar and can be found in forums or online. At least ballpark figures (rough direction) are relatively easy to find, or you can call the subcontractors and ask. In the end, it never fails because of the extra 500€ the window maker charges for the warm edge.
