Hello
I have the following question on my mind right now:
In my kitchen planning, I have a side table next to the dishwasher, underneath which there should be a base cabinet with drawers, but rotated so that the drawers open to the front, see picture:
If I now remove the side table in the Ikea planner and look at the transition between the dishwasher and the rotated base cabinet, the planner does not show a clean transition but forms an edge, see another picture:
I generally think it is common to install a base cabinet rotated, right?
What can I do so that a nice transition is formed with this arrangement?
How is it with the kickboard? The left side of the rotated base cabinet does not have a kickboard on the side, right?
On the left side of the rotated base cabinet, I have of course specified an end panel. Do I actually need an filler strip on the right so that the drawers do not hit the wall when opened?
But then the edge at the transition would become even bigger...
By the way, in the picture the drawers would not open fully because they would hit the door frame of the balcony door.
But that is not a problem, because in reality the door is still in a small niche and therefore the door frame does not protrude into the room.
Best regards
