No floor instead of cabinet mounting. And I see it the same way. I consider individual mounting a crazy idea.

Ah, understood – you mean it looks stupid if the panels in the complete system are screwed between floor and ceiling and then a shelf is placed in front on the front side?

That way, from behind you can see the panels and the back of the shelf element through.

That would be the alternative – possibly with a tiered shelf – similar to my initial post.

Exactly. Attaching everything to one frame is okay and makes sense.
