Whereby probably the large window plus an exchange will not differ much in price compared to the two small windows.

just to throw in something totally unqualified (we are also currently planning): with a knee wall of 1.60 I PERSONALLY wouldn’t install a roof window at all but rather save the money and make a rather narrow window across the entire width of the wall (or 2 depending on the price). Of course, the sink and toilet would then have to be swapped so that you’re not sitting facing the public...

With the 1.60 m knee wall, it is also very difficult to reach the window / the window handle, by the way. Unless you are very tall.

We thought so too (then it would have been automatic) - but now we have discovered a series where the handle is at the bottom... of course, that's inconvenient when closing. We'll see - maybe it will be electric.
