Suppose the development plan states something about a hip roof or gable roof with 25 to 40 degrees - but what does that apply to? Is it specified in any law that this only applies to the main roof of the main house? If WD/SD and 25-40 are stated there, then why is it allowed, for example, to build a flat-roof garage or why is it done? What applies to such building elements as a single-storey bay window on the ground floor in an otherwise two-storey building? Would one then have to suggest a gable roof or hip roof with 25 to 40 degrees there? On the other hand, if I declare it as a balcony, is a flat roof then allowed? Now further asked, what about an entrance canopy? Does the entrance canopy then also need a little hip roof, because WD/SD is prescribed in the development plan - surely not, right?
So my question is, what does the specification of the roof shape in the development plan refer to and what does it not, and why is that so?
