Correct . I only mean in principle: If the approver from the building authority makes a mistake (would have made or would make), that does not mean that it remains valid. That’s all I wanted to express with that. Experienced it myself! But that was also several years ago. And whether those people would sue against it today (they did not do so back then) I obviously don’t know either.

Hello,

Thank you for your comments, that makes me hopeful again after some reflection that this orientation is indeed permissible. Unlike many other development plans, there is no further definition such as first bergseitig or pictorial representation, which leaves more room for interpretation. Apart from the fact that there is no such object in the immediate vicinity so far, so this type of construction would stand out.

Best regards, Harry

You don't need to hope. Approved is approved is approved. That's what the approval process (vs. exemption process) is for, to gain legal certainty.

Sometimes different things are stated in development plans, which usually come as "normally like this, but as an exception like that." For example, in the case of photovoltaics/solar thermal, the roof pitch might be allowed to be adjusted to the south side. Without knowing the entire development plan, it's difficult to judge, but: Check it off and start building. :)

Hello,

Thanks again for your responses.

I think I had a misunderstanding in the interpretation myself.

Since the access road is also to be constructed "parallel to the slope," this expression refers to the course of the roof (main ridge) along the contour lines and not to the pitch – as no further specification / definition was given here, such as "ridge on the uphill side" or "roof pitch like the slope." ..

Best regards, Harry
