As said yesterday, this is simply a niche for marketing and guarantees an opportunity to add another 10-20% to the normal price. The first two points are given for every sports turf and how quickly the grass blades decompose depends mainly on the weather.

Robograss from Gartenwild, for example, is great (spreads vigorously, displaces weeds, etc.) but requires a lot of nutrients and water. The dominant grass species in these mixtures is Supina. But that's more for people who have lawn care as a hobby. I don't get that impression from you. A normal sports and play lawn is just as suitable for robots.

all clear we will then take a sports and play lawn

May I ask again about the automatic irrigation?

What is needed for that?

At the faucet you install an irrigation timer that opens the passage for x minutes/seconds and lets the water through

The water is then distributed through the hoses to the sprinklers, have I understood that correctly? (simply put)

Would an automatic irrigation system even be worthwhile for a garden of about 200sqm?

Absolutely. I have it myself on the lawn on the garage roof (approx. 120m2 lawn) including robotic mower. But it is not as simple as presented.

what must one consider with automatic watering?

the garden layout is very simple for us 10x20m rectangular with lawn in the middle and flower bed around and the terrace at the house

how do I plan the watering and which components do I need?

unfortunately, I have no idea sorry and mainly only find Gardena on the internet
