No, of course not, I was referring to Alex's statement,
A collector can be even cheaper.

The collector is cheaper, you can get it for 3-5T€. In EL even less. You need the planning (possibly obtained through forums and their tools, already mentioned), an excavator, and someone to operate it. The brine line can be bought online, anyone can lay the rings. Still, of course, you have to want to do it. It wouldn’t be for me (0.0% own work on construction). The difficult part is finding a company that installs the collector. They are still rare so far. You can get drillings on every corner. It is important to have the correct sizing, otherwise you drill too much = expensive. Heat load calculation is the basis, the heat extraction capacity can be determined for a small fee from the Geological Service in NRW, for example, to base the drilling depth on that. One drilling is better than several, the 100m limit is esotericism, in practice you can easily drill beyond that, the difference is usually just a form. The drilling company takes care of that. I would at least check whether that is an option. I claim that in many cases an air-water heat pump would be avoidable, because a brine-water heat pump would also be possible at about the same price (after subsidies). The obstacle is the GUs, who are not interested in that.

That's really true, they just don't want to, or always say it's too expensive, mine is now amazed that it's so cheap.

What do you think is the motivation behind not wanting to? The customer threatening with an order probably isn’t the case, right?

What are, in principle, the topics that argue against sole heat pumps?

Our planner once said that the regenerative capacity of the soil must not be overlooked and that with shallow collectors, the planting above cannot be uncritical. In other forums, one also sometimes reads about silting/sedimentation issues in connection with deep drilling.

Just one more thought about the trench collector, why it’s not an option for me, even though I fundamentally find the approach interesting:

Warranty claims: especially with hot water and heating, in case of malfunction, I want to have a contact person who knows the system and installed it. In that case, I really wouldn’t want to start a discussion first about what was (self-) built etc.… and the discussion comes at the latest when fault finding takes longer.

This "comfort"/this security is easily worth the extra cost to me compared to a trench collector done by myself. Or are there already companies driving the big revolution of the trench collector forward and offering solutions?

Simply no desire to deviate from their approach. Here, they build with gas; if you are slightly exotic, with an air heat pump. Everything else is more expensive nonsense. The companies simply do not know anything about it, and they have no desire to deal with it. And at the moment, customers are lining up, so customers with the "normal" wishes are accepted.

Okay, I can understand that in the case of a general contractor/general contractor/subcontractor, but with individual contracts? If someone isn’t interested, they just don’t submit a bid. It’s unfortunate if you don’t get an offer. On the other hand, if uncertainty is the reason for a refusal, I find that legitimate. Why should he try something he’s not familiar with and then still have to provide a warranty for it? Would I want to be an experimental subject as a client? Awkward situation, because of course you don’t make any (innovation) progress that way, but on the other hand it’s also legitimate if a contractor doesn’t want to take the risk, right?
