I would not bend the glass front at the bottom coming from the top left inward at an angle but let it run straight ahead to the right, possibly (if the building envelope allows it) even continue outward at a 45° angle and also make the ceiling in both cases out of glass.

That would be a nice solution with a conservatory. Make sure that you don’t plan a kitchen table as a family dining table - I just see an emergency table there that is supposed to serve guests.., If it were my house, I would put the kitchen in the conservatory... maybe a small storage room could be added near the [Garderobe]? That would also do the apartment quite well.

sorry that I haven’t been in touch for so long. Many thanks for the great ideas and suggestions, which I have now had incorporated into a draft by an architect. I think this is already the right approach:
- Kitchen reduced --> Office
- Kitchen relocated
- Load-bearing wall replaced with lintel

However, I’m not really happy with the "remaining" wall. It now just stands in the middle of the room (support for beam). Do you have any ideas on how this could be cleverly "integrated into furniture/kitchen" as a stylistic element?
PS I’m somehow not a fan of conservatories – especially when it gets quite hot in summer.

But that is not a sofa with proper dimensions planned there (approx. 190x190 with a good 60 cm seat depth). The kitchen is also not really a cozy place like this, and chairs in the passage area are not ideal either.

What about the fireplace... what does it currently look like (photo?), and what is supposed to be there in the future? Will it also be used as an outdoor fireplace?
Is there a basement where water could possibly be routed? Is there a door from the current dining room to the terrace or just a window?
