Recommendation for roller shutter motors

we are in the middle of the construction phase and the offer from our GU for electric shutters was unrealistic. For this reason, we now want to get motors ourselves. Do you have any recommendations? We need about 10 pieces in different sizes (2x double patio doors, 2x single patio doors, 2x floor-to-ceiling windows, and some "normal" windows). I am not concerned about torque, etc. There are suitable sizes for that. What I am interested in is the possibility to operate all shutters with ONE remote control and also to create motor groups (e.g. the function "open all shutters in the living room"). And a timer function would also be nice, but it is not a must.

We faced a similar problem as well. There are plenty of electric roller shutter motors, but when it comes to radio control, options become scarce.

If you especially want to control any groups, the products from Rademacher or Somfy might be something for you. However, in the end, you'll quickly end up paying over €200 per motor.

These companies also offer radio modules that can control any motors. But a radio module plus any motor doesn’t cost much less than a radio motor in the end.

For us, it will be the Somfy IO drives.

The TDEF series from Jarolift are affordable and durable. They offer an online configuration where you can calculate the motor power. The radio remote controls of the "larger" series also offer group control. The motors have been running trouble-free in my living room for over a year.

I thought until now, somfy mainly makes good advertising ;-) mine are from Becker.
