Do I understand this correctly, €280 PER window in additional costs compared to conventional electric drives???

That would be almost €3k for 10 windows plus the actual costs that already arise from electronic control anyway? This can be implemented more cheaply even with KNX... That would be usury.

But it matches the costs that were offered to me for Somfy with TaHoma Box. Slightly less per window, as I have a few more.

And regarding the solutions here that were wired centrally. KNX should only be an example from my side for wired solutions that must be connected centrally to a control unit. There are also countless other examples, such as Digitalstrom, which only works over the usual power line.

Our blinds can be controlled individually. Additionally, we have one central switch per floor that operates the blinds either based on sunlight, astro, programmed time, or manually up and down. For this purpose, as already mentioned, a cable was looped through and brought to a central point. Both central switches (EG and OG) cost us about €1,350 more. Not a cheap undertaking, but we did not want radio control either.

We have installed radio motors (Somfy) throughout the entire house, which did not cost any extra compared to the standard wiring in the window reveal. The costs for switches and cabling are eliminated. I also did not want a switch battery somewhere centrally in the living room, as friends of ours have (instead of one switch per window reveal). The option to connect all the roller shutters to a single switch (linked to an astro timer or time switch) would of course have been another option.

I can recommend "Homematic" to you. The roller shutter switch (up/down) costs about 60 euros. It can be operated manually as well as controlled via radio. "Via radio" means that this can be done through a central switch, app, or automatically (time control, astro, etc.). You can also combine the roller shutters with other actuators. For example, via door contact, so that the roller shutters do not automatically go down when the patio door is open, etc. If a tubular motor breaks, it can be replaced by a simple and inexpensive one. You are not dependent on a radio tubular motor from a single manufacturer. We have a roller shutter switch at each window. Additionally, a 6-way switch with which all roller shutters can be raised and lowered at once.

We also have a Somfy system. All the blinds have a radio motor installed and have a radio switch. Additionally, I have a remote control with which I can save 5 scenarios. I find it practical.
