Hello everyone,
unfortunately, I have to bring up the topic again.
I checked the construction again today.
Structure from outside to inside:
- Tiles
- one layer of gypsum board
- several layers of wood (we really meant well there, I was not even aware anymore)
- then comes the cavity
In total, from the top edge of the tiles to the cavity, it is certainly 75mm that the anchor/the screw must "penetrate."
When I look at the common sizes of metal cavity anchors, I am a bit concerned that they might not be able to "spread" as desired behind all the material because they are too short.
Or should the anchors with a length of 80mm be long enough to spread?
Thanks,
best regards and good night!
