Good morning everyone,

the following situation:

Bathroom
Drywall with metal profiles
Double-layered and additionally reinforced with wood/OSB at the (hopefully) crucial points
Tiles are already installed

A vanity cabinet along with a washbasin is to be mounted hanging here.

Unfortunately, I fear we didn't think enough about the weight.
My gut feeling says it should hold, but I didn't want to rely on feeling alone in this context and rather want to be as safe as possible.

According to the installation manual, the base cabinet should be screwed to the wall at a total of 8 points.

I am now looking for the "best" suitable dowels/screws/fastening options for this purpose.

Classic hollow wall metal anchors from F....?
Or is there an alternative?

Thanks for your tips,
many greetings

The dowels hold that, that (hopefully) is clarified beforehand, when a washbasin cabinet is purchased, there is an assembly manual and the metal rails of the drywall should align with the mounting points. Do you have a photo of the metal construction? If not, metal detector? Otherwise risk with a freely hanging washbasin cabinet

First of all, the wall holds up quite well. You can add wood or OSB reinforcement. But that's just for peace of mind, technically usually not necessary.
Just pick dowels from F.... or whoever you want.
Unless you have a concrete base cabinet.

Uh, the washbasin isn't mounted on threaded rods (pre-wall element or recessed directly into the wall)?

That is unnecessary nonsense.

Was a mounting plate made of wood possibly installed? This is often done even for the washbasin.

Yes, that one should think that through a bit better beforehand is also clear to me. Unfortunately, we missed that now. I can't say whether the mounting points hit the metal rails of the drywall, but they definitely hit the wooden reinforcements. A metal detector would be an option if I knew where to get one. But it can be obtained.

No, it is a countertop washbasin.

Do the above weight specifications apply per fixing point? Or for the entire wall? Rather per point, right?
I just noticed, kg per meter.....

As I said, OSB was installed behind the drywall panels for reinforcement.
