Recessed spotlight dimmable / non-dimmable beam angle

If the power supply is installed centrally, you need to consider the cable length due to losses and then possibly use a larger cable cross-section. That is no problem then.

I have two Meanwell power supplies in the distribution, and the spot circuits are wired with 2.5 mm² cables. That puts me on the safe side.

With a central installation, you don't have to worry about the placement in the box.

I also installed the spots recommended by Steffen and am very satisfied.

Thank you for your answers, but the product you mentioned is a 220mm spotlight, right? However, I am looking for a GU10 socket. According to Stiftung Warentest, the Ikea Ledare should be very good, but the beam angle is only 36°, and in our case, some HaloX-P boxes are up to 150cm apart, so I think the light cone would not be optimal for illumination.

Overall, I need:

6 dimmable = kitchen-U
5 retrofit = kitchen passage
1 retrofit guest WC
6 retrofit = hallway/foyer ground floor
1 retrofit = hallway basement
1 retrofit = hallway attic
6 dimmable = bathroom

As mentioned at the beginning, all should have a GU10 base, and the big problem is that the 6 dimmable and the 5 retrofit in the kitchen are in an open space, so they should not differ much visually and also not differ in terms of light.
