Hello everyone,
I am currently considering how the roof overhang can be clad on our new detached house.
On the gable side, we have two rafters protruding each (total overhang without facing and insulation layer = 50cm). See attached pictures.
Is it sensible to attach plastic U-profiles from, for example, Fa. Heering directly onto the rafters and then attach plastic panels onto the rafters?
Or should a sub-battening be realized so that the rafters can still be seen later?
With which execution do I have to pay attention to ventilation?
I am looking forward to your explanations and ideas.
Thanks and best regards
Julian
