Of course, you can retroactively attach a formwork-like wooden cladding, but you can see that it is not continuous. Since the rafters of the roof are protected, the maintenance effort is minimal.

Thank you for your answers. I would attach the plastic panels directly to the rafters. Then do I use U-profiles as guides and side framing on both sides?

Hello everyone,

I have now ordered panels from Heering / Mammut.
I would like to start processing them from tomorrow.

The U-profiles will then be screwed directly onto the rafters as a lateral guide. The panels will then be inserted lengthwise there and screwed to the rafters. What is the most sensible way to proceed if I want to process the area between the ridge beam and the foot beam with U-profiles?
As soon as I have installed both lateral casings with U-profiles, I no longer have space to insert the profile panels.
Or should a piece of U-profile be left off at the front side in this case?
