Hello,
firstly my ordeal:
I moved and had to buy a kitchen. After measuring the kitchen, only an Ikea kitchen was an option because it is an old building and you couldn't install a standard kitchen.
Two weeks before pickup, I obediently went to my Ikea and got advice and was repeatedly assured that my fronts (Adele Birch) would be available when I come with the transporter two weeks later.
Which fronts were of course not in stock? Mine! Delivery problems, so okay, then just the corpus and the rest to be delivered, because: "Otherwise you would have to come more often and only the central warehouse is supplied initially for direct deliveries. So you should have the fronts delivered." Said and done.
Now I am left with a kitchen without fronts. I actually thought I could already assemble the kitchen and then just attach the fronts.
Think again! Without fronts, I can hardly mount the drawers at the correct height.
Okay, I thought to myself, then just assemble the bottom drawer and then see further.
Now the problems:
I only have one panel for the Faktum tall cabinet for an oven. But where are the 3 panels for the base cabinets which each have 3 drawers, if only 2 drawer panels are delivered to me? And do I have to drill the only 9.7 cm panel myself to use it for the 3rd drawer of the oven tall cabinet?
Where do I position the shelf on which the oven stands?
I slowly want to be able to make a pizza and my better half wants to start baking rhubarb cake.
I hope someone can tell me whether I now have to saw the panels myself from the 190 x 60 side strips or whether the idiot from kitchen consulting didn’t get it and if someone with the same tall cabinet can tell me where the lower shelf is positioned.
Thanks a lot.
