Now the only question is, what should you watch out for with this year of construction / what other possible upcoming renovations do we not even have on our radar?
You don’t have to watch out for a year of construction, but rather check the object of desire. We don’t know that, but your companion, who will initially support you.
Unfortunately, pictures are a bit difficult,
Is there an ID for an exposé?
Some renovations or repairs are known to us, or we would aim for the following:
- Remove the rough plaster from the walls throughout the house, repaint
- Standardize floors (partly tiles)
- New kitchen
- Photovoltaic system (possibly with domestic hot water heat pump)
- Possibly remodel bathrooms, we are not so happy with them – since they are relatively small (in one you could enlarge the room); but they were done quite recently – so there are no direct pains there
- Paint windows
- Paint doors
We trust ourselves with floors, painting, etc., or would do as much as possible ourselves.
I want to take a close inventory of the sockets on the next visit. LAN is obviously a topic –
As a woman, I have to honestly admit that this is such a typical woman thing, as long as everything looks superficially nice.
It doesn’t really matter whether there is rough plaster, because it does what it’s supposed to do.
Before getting a photovoltaic system, I would check here how much longer the heating will last.
Before painting, I would check the wood and possibly replace windows.
Sockets – first of all, it’s about the wiring, possibly the fuse box, and a new electrical panel.
LAN would also not be an issue yet. You can get internet in other ways as well.
The basis has to be right, meaning the substance. Once that is restored or renewed or classified as feasible, then you can do the fine-tuning: new floors, new sanitary installations or new sockets or different switches, if the wiring has been replaced. And yes, of course you can renew the plaster at the same time if you’re opening the walls anyway... but for example I wouldn’t think about a new kitchen until I have dealt with the items mentioned first.
Roof covering: How can I assess it without going on the roof? They are Frankfurter Pfanne in shape.
- Roof insulation: I have to check, only have the information "1990."
- Water pipes: I will check (as soon as I find out how I can check that)
Again: it’s not about the shape of the tiles, but whether they are still any good.
You should really look at the roof because of the rafters.
Water pipes: it is enough to prepare yourself that they may have to be renewed. You probably can’t check everything. And some things are relative anyway, if you have to renew one thing or another anyway. For example, you probably shouldn’t worry about the few sockets if the entire electrical system has to be replaced anyway.
Everything else is makeup.
