Better than nothing. However, I would rather take a craftsman along than a graduate. They are more pragmatic to me.

He certainly is! So he actually carried out the construction projects largely by himself.

Which documents can I still provide here so that one of you might take a look or form an opinion? Pictures are unfortunately a bit difficult, as the house is still inhabited and I do not necessarily want to make the information publicly accessible.

What for at all? - You have an experienced do-it-yourselfer with you. That will be sufficient for the basic assessment "good / feasible / too bad" (and thus for the purchase decision "yes / budget-dependent / no"). Besides, you spoke of your own learnings which you can also fall back on. It will be fine! There is no semi-publicity here. You will have to live with this shortcoming.

You don’t have to watch out for a year of construction, but rather check the object of desire. We don’t know that, but your companion, who will initially support you.

Is there an ID for an exposé?

As a woman, I have to honestly admit that this is such a typical woman thing, as long as everything looks superficially nice.

It doesn’t really matter whether there is rough plaster, because it does what it’s supposed to do.
Before getting a photovoltaic system, I would check here how much longer the heating will last.
Before painting, I would check the wood and possibly replace windows.
Sockets – first of all, it’s about the wiring, possibly the fuse box, and a new electrical panel.
LAN would also not be an issue yet. You can get internet in other ways as well.

The basis has to be right, meaning the substance. Once that is restored or renewed or classified as feasible, then you can do the fine-tuning: new floors, new sanitary installations or new sockets or different switches, if the wiring has been replaced. And yes, of course you can renew the plaster at the same time if you’re opening the walls anyway... but for example I wouldn’t think about a new kitchen until I have dealt with the items mentioned first.

Again: it’s not about the shape of the tiles, but whether they are still any good.
You should really look at the roof because of the rafters.
Water pipes: it is enough to prepare yourself that they may have to be renewed. You probably can’t check everything. And some things are relative anyway, if you have to renew one thing or another anyway. For example, you probably shouldn’t worry about the few sockets if the entire electrical system has to be replaced anyway.
Everything else is makeup.

If money plays a crucial role, I would like to raise the question of whether it necessarily has to be a property in this region. The price sounds incredibly high to me, such properties are traded here (Umland Paderborn) for around 300,000 euros.
