Promotion of acquisition of existing property

at the Federal Construction Summit in mid-September, it was announced that the purchase of existing properties will also be subsidized at favorable interest rates in the future. Are there already further details on this (funding framework, conditions, etc.)? I have not been able to find anything on this in my research so far. Important: I am not referring to the [KFW124]. Looking forward to information and suggestions.

P.S. But honestly, I wouldn’t know why you should support the "normal" homebuyer who, in the worst case, also buys an energy guzzler. Targeted support: yes! Support just like that: no!

The biggest energy waster is probably built by every homeowner. Because a new building consumes significantly more resources than renovating an existing building. That is the right ecological way of building. Renovate existing buildings and do not seal more new areas with concrete.

Either the prices for new construction fall or the existing properties increase in value. And the less supply of rental apartments there is, the more the rents will rise.

A quick look at the USA is enough to guess the development. People live all over in tents on the streets. And many despite having jobs, whose wages no longer suffice for the rent.
