Hello

We do not exactly understand which settings we need to adjust on the heat pump when we also make a fire in the fireplace.

We have set the airflow to 2, stove mode, and the heating is on.

Is that correct?

I do not understand your question. What settings on the heat pump? Actually, you don't make any settings when you make a fire in the fireplace. What kind of airflow on a heat pump? Please ask a question with all the information that a reader can also understand. "What settings do I have to make in the car when the children play on the tablet? The engine is on and the water flow is set to C." ==> If you can answer this question for me, I will also answer your question without any further information from you ;)

There is no need to be ironic. I used the terms and did my best to ask the question.

I will try to rephrase the question.

We were told that we have to set the system to [OFENBETRIEB] when the fire is burning. But we are not sure whether the heating has to be ON or OFF.

But based on what you wrote, we really don't have to adjust any settings when the fire is burning?

It would already be helpful to mention the type and designation of the heat pump, possibly scan the corresponding passage from the [Bedienungsanleitung] and upload it here.

EDIT: Sometimes you really shake your head at the crystal balls that are expected ;)

I have to apologize, my knowledge about the Internet and how to use it is extremely limited, I am an older gentleman. I do not want to waste anyone's time here. My neighbor told me to come here and ask questions directly. Unfortunately, I do not have an instruction manual for the system, all I know is what the service technician told me last year.

Mammal sure. Depends on the questions. But you understood what the problem with your question is. Regardless of a heat pump, nothing needs to be done. It would be no different with gas or oil. Normal heating systems also do not have an explicit stove mode. Do you perhaps have an air-to-air heat pump? Or is a ventilation system integrated? Or does the stove have a water jacket?
