Problems with 220cm Ikea Metod tall cabinet and built-in oven

I have been reading along quietly here for a while. I have now planned my kitchen and it is mostly finished, but my 220cm tall cabinet with space for a microwave and built-in oven is giving me a big headache.

I have a built-in oven which is 59cm high.

The problem is that if I set the oven base as it is supposed to be, the drawer no longer closes because it hits the bottom of the oven. If I raise the oven base by one level, there is a gap between the drawer and the oven.

I have to install a panel, which according to Ikea goes between the oven and the microwave (which is from IKEA HUSHALLA, 35cm high)...

I am now a bit desperate and hope you can help me.

Hello, since you don't mention a model, I assume the oven is not a new one from IKEA, so without an installation manual for METOD. Have a look to see if the instructions help:

The special shelves for oven/fridge can still be adjusted in height, as described in the manual.

But when I look at the instructions for the "Hushalla" microwave, I already dread it....

Looks pretty good already. When installing the microwave, at least you don’t have to adjust any panel, as was necessary with Faktum.
