Problem due to the neighbor's hedge boundary

Good question. I saw that with my husband. He has the same problem as OP. He never had his own land in front of the house before. Now he suddenly has it and thinks he has to guard it. While I lean back relaxed (I grew up in a parents' "HOUSE" with a garden), he gets upset if the neighbor plows up 20cm of our lawn. Although we don’t exactly need this edge urgently for anything. One has to learn to become a landowner and neighbor as well.
