Slides are in my opinion always a compromise. I have something like that in the rental property, but for the new building there will be something better. I would spontaneously tend to go for the pleated blind. I would also find a curtain in the bathroom strange (but I find curtains strange anyway - even my grandma no longer has those). It would also be wise to consider the topic already in the planning. For example, I don't understand why someone would want floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom, preferably facing the street...

Floor-to-ceiling windows are not even up for discussion. However, in most residential areas nowadays, it is no longer avoidable that a neighbor also has windows at the height of one's own bathroom windows and can therefore look inside. Tastes are different, by the way, for me, pleated blinds are neither particularly attractive nor especially high-quality.

We have also installed film (Bauhaus) in our condominium. It has held very firmly for about 7 years, despite the typical humidity in the bathroom after showering/bathing. At the time, there were also various designs, and now there are certainly many more. Therefore, I would initially tend to choose clear glass and then possibly work with films. If, x years later, you no longer like it, you can always change the film (it's not a huge investment or time commitment), which is less likely to be done with glass (time/money).

I would also start with film first. If it doesn't convince you, then you could resort to blinds: there are already some that are mounted in the frame.

I generally don't think much of pleated blinds, whether in the bathroom or elsewhere: they always look a bit sloppy when these things hang crooked and unevenly in front of the window.

Roller blinds will certainly come back in the next few years, and everyone will want them then.

I can't just let that stand. Appearance is of course a matter of taste, but there are also very high-quality pleated blinds that differ significantly from DIY store products in quality and appearance. We decided on pleated blinds because you can adjust them to be opaque as needed. With film, once it sticks, you can't look outside anymore.
