Have not had anything checked so far.

Is this also appropriate with reputable, large providers? So far, I have assumed that if something were wrong here, one would have to have read about it very often.

We initially had the contract and construction service description from Bien and Zenker checked (supplemented) and ultimately decided on architects with a general contractor and also had them checked. With the latter, supplements were no problem. Well-invested money.

We first collected all the offers. In the end, we had two favorites, whose contracts we also had reviewed. Especially in our case, the money could have been saved, since both contracts + [Bauleistungsbeschreibung] were flawless. For peace of mind, of course, still quite reassuring.

With large providers, it is probably less about extremely nasty traps being included, but rather about the comparability of the offers. So the interesting question: What do I, as the builder, still have to pay extra during the construction that is not included in the offer price. Only when I (approximately) know this can I also roughly compare the prices of different offers.

As I understood it, prefabricated house manufacturers and solid builders construct two different buildings that are equally appealing. Comparability is then a matter of debate anyway; of course, one can talk about features. But choosing a house from a catalog also fits with voucher promotions. Every pot has its lid.

Much that is right has been said. No press, no stress. Tell the advisor we will only sign after we have compared. If his vouchers are then worthless, so be it. Next. What is being offered? A house? Your house? So is it calculated on your land? Are earthworks sufficiently pre-calculated? Do you have everything included? Floor slab? Drains, connections? A prefabricated house does not have to be bad, it is dry, it is well-thought-out technology, it is also aesthetic. But I would be surprised if it were cheaper than solid construction. My life experience is different. Karsten
