So... for us, the planning phase would have been independent of the question prefab house / solid house. The construction phase was a bit shorter - neighbors started building solid on a base plate last March and moved in just before Christmas. We started this year at the end of March with excavation for the pit and are now moving into our 'prefab house' in November. The advantage of the solid construction is certainly that the neighbor was still able to lower the windowsill and bottom edge of a window during the construction phase. The biggest problem at the moment is getting appointments with the craftsmen. They are all so well booked here. The problem is also reflected with the prefab house manufacturers - they are often very busy as well, so that the prefabrication in the factory is the bottleneck here...
