My point exactly! We are talking about a warranty defect that must be proven. Certainly not by replacing window panes at your own expense, especially since the warranty would then be void here.

Such a person is called an expert for building defects. It has nothing to do with acoustics, but rather whether the house is built according to recognized rules of technology. If not, there is a claim for (free) remediation.

You always get an expert right away before thinking for yourself .... that's how they make good money.

The original poster certainly wouldn't just replace the window if they assumed they had a construction defect!

You seem to know a lot of people. And if he is replacing the panes rightfully, then it was indeed a defect! Otherwise, money thrown away. It's obviously easy to speculate from afar when it's not your own money.
