We also build with prefabricated basements in individual contracting – there is certainly some risk involved when certain trades are done in individual contracting, but "no Pain, no gain" as the Russian says.
I don’t see the need for cladding – slotting is also not necessary (or even allowed in concrete walls, structural engineers usually have a fit over that), since there are very nice electrical installation systems for precast concrete parts where all empty conduits, boxes, and other connectors are already integrated. They are not cheap, but probably still cheaper than cladding.
By the way, the systems are also designed for ceilings, although we ultimately decided on a suspended ceiling there, because quite a lot of "stuff" accumulates there – to integrate ventilation ducts into reinforced concrete without pain, for example, you have to adjust the ceiling thickness. Provided the corresponding design, a suspended ceiling can also be used to adapt the room acoustics accordingly.
But remember to plan, for example, all ceiling and wall penetrations for the installation (drinking/wastewater, ventilation, EG connection) as early as possible.
Whether everything will go well, we will only see at our place, so for now it’s all theory... ;)
