Put as much heavy stuff as possible on the door to increase the weight. If you have something on site to put in. Secure/lock the door with something. Otherwise, I can't think of anything else?

But let's take the game further: who is liable if the thing gets out of control and damages something in the neighborhood?

GU & developer if the house has not yet been handed over. Because it is in their scope of services and thus insured through them?

Or the builder or builder's liability insurance?

I have already read that this is probably covered by the builder's liability insurance...

If it just lies down, I wouldn't care. You can stand it back up and spray it off with the water hose.
