Yes, you have to be careful with the color. The fixed side windows in our room are made of plastic. The color tone matches, the surface is a bit matte. Even someone visually rather picky like me doesn’t notice it.

Same here. There are 3 window areas of 3.10m each in the all-room. The current plan is to have the middle "block" with the large dining table in front as fixed glass, so without any glass division, and to implement the 1/3 - 2/3 solution in the other two blocks (kitchen + living). Then there would be 2 terrace doors from the all-room, each about 100cm wide. I wanted the middle part to be foldable because I had that before, but then the front would be divided into three parts.....hm....I'm a bit stuck on that right now. But we would have 2 doors anyway, each about 1m wide. 3.10m in two parts is probably less feasible and I don't really like lift-and-slide doors. I understand it that you also have "only" hinged doors? you seem to have large glass surfaces. Why do you block your way to the garden in summer with all your fixed glass? We have 10 meters of window area facing the garden, of which 5 meters can be opened by a sliding element, so our living room can simply double in summer.

Of 365 days in a year, it is rarely so warm/fresh/nicely scented that one wants to sit at the dining table with the window open. Because mostly one sits a) in the warm or b) directly on the terrace.
