Hello everyone,

we are currently building a single-family house.

We are struggling with the design of the bathroom. I must also admit that we were/are very inexperienced and unfortunately considered many things too late. Because it is always difficult to imagine everything on the plan. Only now, after the shell construction is finished and we see the room live, we realize that we could do one thing or another differently. Be that as it may, we now have to make the best of it:

Therefore, I would very much like to gather ideas and suggestions on how to design the bathroom.

I am attaching the plan of our bathroom (The window is high enough to place a bathtub or WC etc. there).

We need to fit in here:
- WC
- walk-in shower (with glass wall/divider, but open. That means without a door)
- bathtub (170-180 x 70-80)
- double washbasin (with cabinet)
- towel radiator

We are really struggling. Maybe someone has good ideas. We would be very grateful.

Thank you very much in advance.

How high is the window sill? How wide is the window?

Is there a sloping roof? If yes, where is the 2 m line and how steep is the roof pitch.

The floor plans are also quite helpful. One should know where the drainage goes and which rooms are located below and next to it.

I must also mention that the dimensions in the above plan are shell construction dimensions.

The parapet height is approximately 1.2m. The window dimensions are W 1.51 x H 0.87 m.

There is a roof slope, but with a knee wall of 2.15m, with the bathroom located exactly in the middle of the house,
so the walls here are well above the knee wall.
To the left and right of the bathroom are children's rooms.
Below the bathroom is partly the hallway and partly the kitchen.

As for connections, drainage, etc., we are still flexible. The installer would lay everything accordingly,
as we plan the design and placement.

Thank you, you think you have explored all possibilities, but actually I hadn't considered this one yet :-) It is definitely worth considering. Thank you very much.
