Hello We are building a 2-story house with a gable roof with a 26.5 degree pitch. Garden to the south, stunning views to the north, clinic on the ground floor with sink. Internal dimensions 8.10x11.00. Staircase runs ascending west to east. The house should be comfortable for a family with 2 children and visitors. What do you think about the location of the staircase? Storage space will be in the garage and the technical room next to it. We don’t have a lot of stuff.

I don’t really understand it. What is the playroom supposed to be? Why are there 3 bathrooms upstairs? That somehow doesn’t really fit. The stairs, where is the entrance? Where is the TV supposed to go? 3.25m is very, very tight for a couch corner. 3 different window heights in the kitchen/living room looks strange. What is the function of the other rooms on the ground floor? What is the narrow room without a door next to the toilet? What kind of clinic is supposed to be on the ground floor? What is the room between the two bedrooms upstairs? So, somehow it looks to me as if some rooms were just put onto a certain floor space without really thinking about whether it makes sense. I would start completely from scratch or leave the whole thing to an architect.

Morning

I don’t understand the concept either.

Why do 2 of the rooms have direct access to the bathroom, but the third one only across the hallway?
The word "bequem" was mentioned. But you don’t mean the narrow slalom to the living room?
Upstairs there is a large hallway, which becomes many narrow corridors due to the staircase in the middle.
From [Klinik] I assume you have public traffic on the ground floor also in the hallway, toilet, and waiting room.
Is that well thought out? I would separate the professionally used part from the living area.

I don’t think you will get a usable result without professional help.

Thank you very much Olli, just such a stupid idea. We already have architectural drawings that will hopefully work. Is there a possibility to close a topic since you have answered my question?
