Hello,
my parents installed brown windows 30 years ago. The frames are very faded, even in the north.
I don’t know to what extent the technology has improved since then, but I think that colored window frames eventually fade.
Old white plastic windows are now gray because the surface becomes porous and dull. The same applies to the brown ones from back then; these also fade.
I think that today’s manufacturing in plastic construction (30 years later), especially the foil coating, is much, much better, and this also applies to uncoated white windows.
