Plastic windows in anthracite versus white

Old white plastic windows are now gray because the surface becomes porous and dull. The same applies to the brown ones from back then; these also fade.

I think that today’s manufacturing in plastic construction (30 years later), especially the foil coating, is much, much better, and this also applies to uncoated white windows.

Can't speak from experience but have heard that the windows start to crack when they are dark. Because of thermal stress. Sounds logical to me. 22€ for a window still seems very cheap to me. Maybe just material but then labor costs too?! Is the frame included as well? We also decided against it because of a few thousand € and I am happy with how it is. White house, white windows
