By the way, there is a typo here. I strongly assume you mean the manufacturer CoeLux (without an r).

I have also come to like the Paulmann LED panels. But the smallest size is 30cm in diameter, right? I wonder if they create a completely different effect than with spots? Does something like that fit, for example, in the bathroom?

These are simply 5 panels with Tunable White side by side. Cost is about 50 euros each at the discount store plus control of the whole. Of course, you can spend much more money. But you don't have to. We have the same situation in the kitchen, for example.

You have to see. 30cm would be almost too big for me in the bathroom, but then probably only two are enough and that can also look good. We have, for example, upstairs in the hallway 3x 20cm from another manufacturer and that provides more than enough light.

just don’t take any Philips surface-mounted spotlights. they have a nice aluminum housing, but the suspension is made of plastic. so you never get them flush with the ceiling. i have them in the dressing room and it looks lousy

Where is the transformer hidden in the flat LED panels? Are they now so slim that they can be hidden between the ceiling and the panel, or do you need a suspended ceiling to store the transformer there?

And has anyone already had experience with the lifespan of these panels? The "light sources" usually cannot be replaced, so in case of a defect, the entire lamp often has to be replaced. With my E-14 / E-27 LEDs, I often had failures within the first 24 months due to electronic defects. That would be quite annoying with large and expensive panels.
