IPTV over LTE is conceivable, but unrealistic due to the data volume. Streaming 1 movie in HD and it would almost be over. Telekom currently throttles after 10GB to 384kb/s. Vodafone throttles at the latest after 30GB to 384kb/s. Of course, this may still change, but I would be surprised.

Only if the connection is practically already in front of your door, otherwise it can easily become 3,200 euros.

Right, sorry. Of course, I assumed the favorable case (new development area with corresponding expansion of the cable network and short distance to the street). Unitymedia offers flat rates for this (quote from the website Anschluss.tv, but it was exactly correct in my case): Flat rates for the new construction of a cable connection at Unitymedia in detail:
    [LIST
[*]€199 coordinated expansion / civil engineering provided by the customer The trench to your house is opened for all providers, who then share the costs for the joint installation. Or you dig a trench yourself with the dimensions 0.30m wide x 0.60m deep on your property. In both cases, you can use the cheapest offered flat rate. [*]€399 civil engineering by Unitymedia You want to supply your old building, or for other reasons no civil engineering can be provided. Here, civil engineering on your property up to 10m is commissioned and paid for by Unitymedia. [*]If the distance from your house to the street is greater than 10m, the flat rates increase accordingly due to the higher civil engineering effort.

Wow, quite a lot has already come together!

Side info: We are not building in a new development area, but have purchased a plot in an existing residential area with old buildings. The old buildings have to make way for our single-family house.
Cable and VDSL are available on site.

Currently, we watch via satellite and have come to terms with that very well. (I deactivated the HD+ card in the receiver and the automatic placement of new channels)
I moved the private HD channels to the back of the channel list and watch the channels in SD – that’s sufficient for us. The restrictions that the private channels transmit with the HD+ signal are simply outrageous. (However, that is a different matter)

Thanks for the hint about the follow-up costs! I hadn’t even had that on my radar. However, these are decisive for the decision-making process.

After considering and evaluating all the input presented here, we will proceed in such a way that we remain loyal to satellite.
A sophisticated LAN cabling in parallel is mandatory for us, as our home entertainment is supplied via DLNA.
