Hello,
I am currently planning the furniture, sockets, and light switches in our floor plan. My wife thinks that we should already plan for larger beds (1.60m wide) or even furnish the rooms with them right away (children: 1x 3 years old; 1 more planned).
What do you think about this, does it make sense to plan a large youth/adult bed for children? For me, the larger bed results in more difficult room concepts, and the bigger bed also takes away valuable play space on the floor, which is especially important for toddlers.
The rooms are each 3.80m x 4m = approx. 15 sqm.
A 1.6m x 2m bed has 3.2 sqm. A 0.9m x 2m bed has 1.8 sqm. That's almost a 1.5 sqm difference...
