Wonderful discussion.
Imho it simply doesn’t matter how big the children/youth bed is.
You take what is there, it’s that simple.
Embarrassing because the bed is too small... got it.

Even in my mid-20s in the student dorms, I still only had a 90cm bed. Just like my girlfriend. It wasn't embarrassing, it was just how it was, it was pretty sh***.

Even though I personally consider the bed size for teenagers as a guideline for the socket positioning in children's rooms to be exaggerated, I must acknowledge that standards are constantly changing and my childhood is no reference for what is expected today. One thing is clear: children's rooms need more sockets nowadays.
