Planning a semi-detached house? Costs of a semi-detached house compared to a single-family house? Experiences?

On the topic of green roofing: I would prefer a roof where the water simply runs off and I don't have to worry about it at all. Besides, I have little confidence that the roof will stay watertight for 30, 40, 50 years. And if it does leak, finding the fault is time-consuming. Because the leak has to be located first, etc. With a garage that is not so important. If it leaks onto my bed, I see that critically... But maybe I am seeing it too critically :-) Regarding the rent: We pay about 1050 euros cold, including [Garage].

Honestly? Make yourselves comfortable there and feel at home. You won't find anything cheaper. When the kids are grown, you'll get the super bargain with a smaller bungalow, just for the two of you :)
