Planning a bathroom, are there better solutions?

The proposal from can perhaps be somewhat abstracted and then presented like this.


Slanted corner out of the hallway, door further towards the bottom of the plan, and then the shower fits behind the door.

The thin line is even already the 2.5m line (approximately, the floor plan is just redrawn and not from the general contractor)

The 2-meter line is always important because the toilet below it does not work, or the front edge of the toilet should be at the 2-meter mark. The same applies to the shower.

I would do it this way, as long as the parapet height and window position are somewhat flexible.

As shown in the original post, the shower door - if it opens outward - can collide with the bathroom door. I would also relocate the shower. I like the last floor plan with the shower around the corner.

There were many good suggestions. No matter which option you ultimately choose, I would recommend installing a large roof window. You have too little daylight.

Thank you very much for all the input. Especially combinations like the one brought up were important to me. Overall, I have not yet found a really good solution for our floor plan. I am now waiting once again for the updated floor plan from the general contractor, with the 2m line and exact measurements, and will then puzzle it together again. The idea of the double casement window is definitely worth considering.
