In the course of the new construction, we want to install a photovoltaic system on the roof. Roof area approx. 160 sqm, roof pitch 25 degrees, gable roof, one side facing northeast and the other southwest. Since we are both civil servants, and unfortunately income from photovoltaic systems requires approval and can later be deducted from the pension, feed-in remuneration is out of the question for us! The system should therefore only reduce our electricity load. We will have a geothermal heat pump with a ground probe and a 300l water tank as heating, as well as a ventilation system. The house is planned as KFW 55 (no longer possible due to the basement). Since I am at home from noon, appliances such as washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and co will mainly be used during the day. In addition, we live in an area with above-average few bad weather days and above-average many sunny days even in winter. We do not want a storage system at first, even if we then obviously sometimes give away electricity. However, as soon as these become cheaper, one should be retrofitted.
How should the system be dimensioned for us?
