If your figures for subsidies and feed-in tariffs are correct, then photovoltaics definitely pay off, unless you buy them at the pharmacy. And liquidity is available at the bank. Even then, photovoltaics are better than no photovoltaics. At €1000/kWp after deducting the subsidy, you get electricity generation costs of about 5 ct/kWh. That would even be covered by the feed-in tariff. Of course, additional costs for insurance, etc., apply. However, these should not amount to more than 2 ct. If the feed-in tariff is really that high, then a battery is (still) not profitable. I would wait until prices fall and retrofit later.
