Does anyone here have experience with pellets/ pellet heating systems?? Would you generally recommend them or would you rather advise against them? I would be very grateful for both positive and negative feedback!
Hello,
the thing with the pellets is a very good matter, firstly they are cheap to get and secondly you can do something good for the environment with them.
Because they only emit as much CO2 as the tree once absorbed.
a friend of mine also wanted to switch but it was very expensive and also very time-consuming. He used to heat with oil and disposing of the old tank alone would have been so expensive for him.

That's true, but that has nothing to do with the acquisition costs for the pellet heating system. Regardless of what he had decided, the disposal costs would have definitely been added.
Regarding the matter, I see only one problem, because the pellets have to come from somewhere. And we certainly do not have enough forest here to sustainably supply that on our own in the long term. Then we are dependent on another country again!!!

The wood will then probably come from the North, so Norway or Finland, I can’t imagine the Norwegians refusing us the wood.
