I think they make their defect repair dependent on whether you pay for it. You have to decide for yourself what is more serious. What you are legally entitled to and what you actually get are two different things.

I can't imagine that. I assume you haven't fully paid yet anyway because of the existing defects? The retained amount must be high enough to exert pressure to have these defects remedied, but must not exceed the legally permitted limit.

Hi,

when they start with such games:

I would talk to them _once more_ and tell them clearly but politely that this is the last communication attempt and everything further will be handled by a lawyer, because in the end they will be the ones paying as well. I have a lot of humor and put up with a lot of nonsense, but there is a limit somewhere and that limit will be enforced!

Why do you make contracts? So that they can unilaterally adjust the price afterwards? Because of energy costs? With the same argument you can point to your higher heating costs and reduce the bill by €600....

What a drama...

Best regards,

Andreas

Based on experience, the whole truth is not always revealed in such threads. What does your contract say? Is there a price guarantee that ends at some point?

Without knowing the contract, I find it quite inappropriate to immediately badmouth the bad kitchen studio...

I find it hard to believe that the kitchen builder would have a kitchen lying around for 10 months and only then install it at the customer’s place. After all, it's also their warranty that partly gets lost.

I would explicitly ask how they arrived at the amount? You must have already ordered the kitchen after you signed the contract. If not, it's their problem. And if they had to drive to you so often because of missing parts, that's not your problem either. So how do the 600€ add up?

Thank you for your opinions. I have the contract in front of me, it is dated 27.11.21. It clearly states that it is a fixed price, even in case of possible price increases by the supplier. Also, the storage of the entire kitchen until the completion of the house. I do not know why I am being accused of not telling the whole truth. I also did not badmouth the "bad" kitchen studio, but only asked if you would pay this called energy surcharge.
