How much have you not paid so far? Written notice of defects and no more payment before repair. I now have an expert for such cases. He charges us for the inspection at his hourly rate and writes directly to the trades what is unacceptable. That works wonders. Unfortunately, they often want to treat us as fools since we are just ordinary builders.

We have already paid around 25k, the interim invoice for the remaining work is still missing.

Unfortunately, reviews and recommendations are always a tricky matter.

We thought we would hire a professional to make it nice, especially since it is a new installation. Now we have expensive botched work.

I will try to talk to the employee tomorrow. Let's see if anything can still be saved. I would prefer to order another company to fix it.

Otherwise, we need an expert from the North Thuringia area. Does anyone happen to know one?

I’m not really looking for a fight. But the whole execution was terrible. For errors we pointed out to them (wrong heights, clogged shaft), he immediately got grumpy. Unfortunately, the employees were also not very capable. The boss was only occasionally on the construction site.

Phew, the quality of the execution is really not acceptable when you already pay "professionals" for it.

Hello fortuneflake

talk to the employee. It will not help.
Make the complaint about the defects, get an expert.
What your pictures show are amateurish works. And also carried out quite carelessly.
Did you take pictures of the substructure? I fear it is no better there either.

Hello

how about the moisture protection on the wall? I don't see anything there. Simply plastered right up to the wall?

Honestly? Even I, an office warrior, was shocked by the poor workmanship...

@TE I can only agree with most here: stand up for yourself!
