But if I shake down the pavement at a spot where there is 4cm of gravel underneath and at a spot where there is only 2cm, the pavement is different in height, isn’t it, or am I mistaken?

What kind of paving stones did you use for your driveways?

We have almost 100 sqm of driveway and about 50 sqm around it to pave. I will definitely do it myself with friends on weekends. This is the third or fourth site of this size.

I am looking for suitable paving stones. It can be a bit more rustic and should not cost more than €15/sqm. It is important that it is truck-driveable, so at least 7 cm thick.

We found a version in the Waal format (WF). However, I'm not quite sure about the dimensions 20x5x7. Does anyone have experience they can share? Is it easy to lay or does it look good on such long surfaces?

Currently, the only alternative is unfortunately "regular" concrete paving. Somehow I lack creativity there...
