Partial renovation of Ikea Faktum kitchen

Hello! We recently bought a house that has a Faktum kitchen in it. We don't have the budget to buy a completely new kitchen, but we want to refresh it. A new stove etc. is no problem, and renewing some fronts is also possible with the Faktum reorder shop. But we urgently need a new, not too expensive, countertop as well. But where do I get a suitable one?? Because those for Metod are too deep. And those from hardware stores etc. are not deep enough. I would be very grateful for tips and ideas!!

Hello, you can cut the one for METOD or at Bauhaus there is a worktop 260x61 for 30 €. If you screw a 1 cm thick wooden strip at the back and use a wall connection profile, it fits quite well. The board is so cheap that you can replace it with something better when you have more money again. (Enter Universalplatte as a search term on Bauhaus.info.)

actually, many DIY stores and carpentries offer countertops with large depths. 70, 80, and 90 cm depth are no problem. I wouldn’t be worried about that. We were able to install countertops with 75 cm depth in the kitchen without any problems. For little money.
