Parquet or tiles in the basement

We are now faced with the question of which floor coverings we want in the basement. Unfortunately, the tilers are extremely expensive. In the price comparison, we have now found that, in the end, using a 10 euro DIY store tile costs just as much as installing an inexpensive, light oak parquet. But is parquet really such a good idea in the basement? (Unser Keller ist eine Weiße Wanne und an die Lüftungsanlage angeschlossen) Thank you for your advice.

You could also lay the tiles yourself in the basement.
