The 50 percent would be just under €1800 for us. That makes you think. What I might still try is to get two or three more pallets of the stones to have them available for swapping. But I think we will probably accept the offer. I will definitely post the swapped result once everything is good again. And above all, we have no desire for a legal dispute and we want to get finished after all. Leaving the pavement half done doesn’t help anyone.

you don't need more stones. you simply take a stone out in 2 places and swap them with each other. pulling out individual stones works fairly well with special tools. maybe try it together with the landscape gardener sometime. inserting them could cause problems, since not every stone is the same size.

in about 6 months or so, pulling out the stones will be significantly harder, as they will be set...

take the money and have the landscape gardener swap a few stones (preferably at his expense). with that money, you can do quite a bit for the outdoor area and console yourself over the appearance (after all, only appearance and not function) of the paving.

We accepted the offer. We get 50 percent and 3 pallets of stones that we can use for the through stones. I think we can live with that. The paver just has to rearrange the paving stones a bit and then we will hopefully be satisfied.

That sounds good. Talk to the paver to see if he would also rearrange the botched "pattern" a bit on his own and help him with it. Then you should all be happy. You probably also have 27m² of paving that you can use somewhere.

The 3 pallets of extra stones are of course awesome. With that, you can easily pave something else properly. For example, lawn edging, another terrace, or something similar. I think you are very well taken care of now and have gotten nice paving stones for really cheap money. In the end, you even gained something from the stress. That's nice and definitely better than a legal dispute.

So the paving is now finished. Everything went well and was faster than expected. We completely replaced 2 pallets. Additionally, we simply exchanged many stones among themselves and partly rotated them by 180 degrees. This has significantly improved the overall appearance.

The money from Kann, as well as the 3 pallets of stones, have also arrived today. So everything was handled very quickly and generously. I really have to praise Kann Bausysteme for that.

I will post a new picture again in the coming days.
