it looks like the stones were simply laid without paying attention to the color gradient.
We have a similar pavement with a color gradient and laid it ourselves. That was not easy.
From a professional company, I would also expect some thoughtful planning.
Legally, however, this will probably be more difficult.

I completely agree with @BeHaElJas: The more often you look at the puzzle, the more your brain gets used to it. The pattern is still a bit restless, but it also looks very interesting and not as boring as the pattern seen in #12.
In your second picture in #1, it also looks a bit more harmonious than in the first.
It also fits the house.
Tip: take a look at the driveway with different eyes

There is no pattern to be seen, just stones that are either laid incorrectly or are simply defective.
