Painting the inside of the garage - concrete and plaster

Dear forum,

Our double garage integrated into the house is a timber frame construction that is completely covered on the inside with cement boards (Aquapanel). A reinforcement layer was then applied on top. On the reinforcement, a mineral adhesive and reinforcing mortar was applied again and finely troweled. The floor is smoothed waterproof concrete. The garage is ventilated and has a 10 cm high tile base all around.

I would now like to paint the garage and possibly also apply a protective coating on the floor (concrete). Which paint would be suitable for the walls and what options are there for coating the concrete floor? I would pretreat the walls with a primer before painting.

What you are looking for could be concrete paint. It is a coating made of paint that is applied in 3 layers. This way, you then seal your floor.

So we will simply prime the walls of our garage and then paint them white. Regardless of whether there is plaster or concrete underneath. We have already done this in other basement rooms and it works quite well. But we still don't know about the floor. Probably a resin-based sealant... (Haben keinen Estrich in der Garage)

For your ceiling as well as the wall surfaces, I would recommend a facade paint.
The floor surface should be done with a 2-component floor coating.
